I got these for my son’s birthday because having it powder coated is ridiculously expensive and is a big ordeal to take the whole bike apart. Also, he always changes his mind on what color he wants to have his bike. So far he’s had it baby blue and more recently a pastel grey, so it is good that he can just keep repainting these. The paint does scrape off if you crash though, as expected, really. I see some parts under his seat that has rubbed off as well, but he is a heavy user, and does a lot of tricks that probably normal user would not wear it out like this. Also because of his use, one piece is not fitting that well anymore and needed to be zip-tied. Pretty good quality for the cost. He’s been using them for 6 months now.

Honestly they don’t line up good and the tape is not all that best. I wouldn’t spend more on this hassle.

This kit looks great and is easy to install. One just has to cut the supplied double-stick tape and place in desired areas. There is also a thin layer of film on the pieces that acts as protection, which I recommend to leave on until installation is complete.

Beware, you need to trim the piece that goes right near the drive chain sprocket. The chain guard mounts won’t allow a good installation unless the cover is shaved down. I did this with a dremel and then exacto knife. The ignition plate must also be loosened and lifted slightly so the material can squeeze underneath and then be tightened down.
